Oh, my dog! This story about a foster dad taking their French Bulldog to visit Santa Claus is the holiday cheer I never knew I needed in my life. This California bulldog may get his Christmas wish after all now that his foster dad took him to meet this big man himself: Santa Claus.
This precious pup named Grape (which is the most adorable name for a dog in my opinion) was previously living at a Los Angeles shelter before he was moved to Roadogs Rescue.
Since arriving at the rescue last spring, Grape’s caretakers have been working day and night to find him a forever home.
With no luck, they decided to get creative this holiday season and thought it would be a good idea to take him to a local mall to meet Santa and hopefully get some attention from potential new parents.
According to reports, Grape’s foster dad learned about a pet day with Santa and decided to take him in his own personal stroller complete with his special outfit.
Grape’s Quest for Permanent Parents
Once they set foot in the mall, Grape’s face was lit up just like a Christmas tree. His foster parents even gave him a special sign that let everyone know Grape was looking for his forever home.
Sadly, Grape has many medical issues, but thankfully Roadogs Rescue primarily works with dogs who are just like him.
Regardless of his medical problems, Grape is one happy pup! He lives his very best life despite his issues, as we clearly saw.
According to his caretaker, Grape’s personality is ten times his size. He loves all the attention he can get and wants to be around people constantly. What a little love bug!
Now, Grape hopes someone will take him in and give him the love and attention he deserves. His foster parents say he needs a home where someone is home all day and doesn’t mind taking him on adventures in his stroller. He would also thrive in a home with someone who has experience with Bulldogs and doesn’t mind taking in a pup with special needs.
At the end of the day, Grape just wants to be loved just like all furry four-legged creatures! If you’re curious about adopting him or know someone who might want to, be sure to check out his adoption page!
