Our love drives us to do many things for our dogs. However, it’s fair to assume they don’t always perceive them this way. Much like these cute dachshunds who think they’re humans have some less desirable traits.
It’s hard to argue these brilliant points. See if you might also be guilty of exhibiting this behavior in a video shared on October 25:
@digitdax How toxic is your human? 🚩🚩🚩 #dogpov #dachshunduk #sausagedoguk #sausagedog #dachshundaddict #doxieuk #dachshundlife #sausagedogcentral #dogowner
These faces are irresistible, so it’s hard to imagine ever telling them no unless it’s for their own good. TikTok user @digitdax informs us these darling dachshunds don’t always agree with their parent’s decisions.
They explain the first sign of your human being toxic is when they break the treat in half, instead of giving one treat each. I’m guilty of that one, too. Next is when the vacuum is constantly cleaning up the crumbs before they can. That’s a valid argument.
They also don’t think highly of being called for a treat and getting a bath instead. And it’s also a toxic situation when the humans describe what they’re eating as too spicy. They understand this is code, for you’re not getting any. Ha! That is true.
They feel betrayed when told to stop barking at nothing in the night. Lol! When the human closes the bathroom door while they’re using it, it causes them great stress. It’s an act that’s beyond their comprehension. Dogs everywhere agree.
It’s also toxic when the human stops petting them like it’s their full-time job before the job is done. Finally, it’s inexcusable to force them to go outside to do their business in the rain. Even though they know they are Dachshunds. This complaint is not exclusive to this breed. Even many of the big dogs don’t enjoy being forced out in the rain.
The audience knew this was true. One viewer remarked, “Mine say the same things.” I know mine do too. Another quipped, “The audacity that your human has.” We really do make it hard for them.
Although we may never know exactly what our dogs are thinking, this sounds pretty darn accurate. Especially when breaking those treats in half.
