There are some dogs in this world where, like people, they are blessed with an innate talent that helps them stand out from the crowd. And there are others who stand out because they try really hard.
On November 25, TikTok user Sid & Nancy Sausage shared a video of the two dogs in the backseat of the car practicing their singing. And you have to give it a watch!
@sidney_minisausage Howlies: up close and personal 😳🎶🤣 #singingdog #howlingdog #singing #howling #awoo #dachshund #dackel #doxie #dogs #funnydogs #sausagedog #dogsoftiktok #fyp
The video is really short, lasting only 16 seconds, but we don’t need much more to realize the talent these two Dachshund dogs think they have.
Sid and Nancy Sausage are two Mini Dachshund siblings who love to sing. And like any skill–and even with innate talents–practice makes perfect. And that’s what these two pups are trying to achieve.
In the video, the dogs are in the backseat of their car, strapped into dog-safe seatbelts, and showing off their talent for singing.
Together, the two dogs take turns howling, and they even seem to attempt some harmonizing as well.
To some, the dogs are just making noise, while others enjoy the howling. But for Sindey and Nancy, they know they’re good singers and they love to practice.
“Howlies: up close and personal,” the caption of the video reads. In the comments were people who agreed with the pups that they’re singing, and they’re doing great!
“I love it!!” one person shared. “I can’t get my lil girl to howl.”
“Love it,” another fan wrote in the comments.
Other messages left under the video were a lot of emojis. There were heart emojis, hand claps, kissing smile faces, and love smile faces, too. These two are known for their singing on social media, and they go by the man Singing Sausages.
According to the American Kennel Club, what we’re really listening to is howling, something that dogs seem to do, and some breeds more than others.
And the Daily Paws says Daschunds are known to howl. “Energetic and alert with a loud, deep howl, dachshunds will be sure to sound the alarm at the sight of guests, but they’re not, for obvious reasons, suited to guard dog work,” the site explains. “Dachshunds can be very playful and will need a decent amount of social attention every day.”
We can’t wait to hear more of their singing!
