Bulldogs are one of those, “they’re cute because they are theoretically not cute” kind of dogs. They’re the cutest!
Halloween is the time for everyone to dress up as their favorite thing. For many dogs, like the one in this video from Monday, October 23rd, their favorite thing is their grandma, and they need to look the part:

I think @izzyavt nailed it. The string of pearls just makes the whole costume.
Of all of the breeds, bulldogs are truly one of the most difficult to dress. Most of the time, they hate it, and they’re just built weird. The golden rule of clothing a bully breed in general is to size up, even if you don’t think you need to.
With a breed like a bulldog, you have to be extra careful not to further restrict their airways, which are already a little restricted by nature. Though that costume with the pearly neckline is adorable, it may pose problems if worn for more than a few minutes at a time, especially if they plan on exercising as well.
English bulldogs are known as a “brachy breed.” That essentially means that they’re Brachycephalic: their noses are short and their faces are flat and smushed. This feature makes them “cute,” but it also means that they have trouble breathing since they physically cannot take in as much air as a regular dog. Brachy breeds include:
Pugs
French bulldogs
English bulldogs
Boston terriers
Living with a brachy dog is no different than a normal dog other than making sure they’re able to breathe well. This grandma costume doesn’t look too tight on her, but it’s definitely something to take into. account!
